City Music (M) Sdn Bhd History

The initiation of City Music (M) Sdn Bhd was affiliated to a company that was started in 1944, during the Second World War as a retail Company, as well as a service centre for musical instruments and pianos, in particular.

In 1968, with the second generation in-line, a Company was started in Singapore. And in 1973, City Music (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Malaysia at Ampang Park Shopping Centre, which was then a premier shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur. From a retailing store, City Music (M) Sdn Bhd gradually turns into an importing and wholesaling company, representing many prestigious brands of pianos, organs, keyboards, guitars , etc. Due to expansion, City Music (M) Sdn Bhd was relocated to a new location in Ampang Point, with its own 5-storey building on its 18th Anniversary.

With the many changes happening, such as the introduction of music education in schools, City Music (M) Sdn Bhd progresses on to specialize on musical instruments that is suitable for use in Schools, as well as well-affordable musical instruments for the general public, in contradiction to the old belief that music is only for the rich and wealthy. Our belief and motto is "let music reach U through us".
